Kirtan for HOPE (or chanting from the heart)
with Nikki Slade
Kirtan or chanting from the heart is an uplifting heart opening practice that uplifts the spirits, cleanses the mind, and connects us to the greater community in love, unity, and joy.
We will sing chants together that replenish our souls. There is no need to be a singer and as we will be online no -one will hear your voice, but you AND you will feel the warmth of all the other participants in the gallery view. We will chant in call and response accompanied by harmonium and drum, and I will join you in the response to give you the sense of the community singing with you. I hope you can join me.
Please bring a yoga mat or cushion

“It is my delight to offer once again a kirtan in aid of HOPE. The first event I shared was back in 2015 at the annual garden party at the invitation of Simon Low.
I love to contribute to the disadvantaged communities in India and HOPE is a fantastic way of giving back to this heart opening practice that I have received from Mother India.”
